Cherishing Each Child,
Nurturing Strong Minds
and Bodies
A Place Full of Fun! Let Curiosity
and Motivation Bloom
GREETINGS

Noriko Kanbara
We strive to be a nursery that gently watches over both children and their parents.
Shuzenkai Nursery, which has walked a long journey together with the local community, has been reborn as Sakura Panda Nursery.
Under the theme “A Place Full of Fun! Let Curiosity and Motivation Bloom,” we cherish each child and nurture their strong minds and bodies.
Our wish in providing childcare is for children to grow into kind individuals who can empathize with others and consider different perspectives.
As children take their first steps in life and experience group living for the first time, we strive to be a nursery that gently watches over both them and their parents.
6 FEATURES
-
Light Clothing and Barefoot Childcare for Building a Strong Body
By spending time in light clothing and barefoot, children develop a healthy body and nurture their five senses.
At Sakura Panda Nursery, children spend time in the playground wearing light clothing from spring to autumn.
By getting accustomed to this lifestyle, they develop a strong and healthy body while also learning to judge for themselves how to adjust their clothing.
Additionally, spending time barefoot stimulates the soles of their feet, promoting brain activation, physical strength, and improved motor skills. -
Fostering Independence Through Friends and Play
Through group duty activities, children cultivate independence while also developing a sense of cooperation, kindness, and gratitude.
Through daily tasks and group duty activities, children cultivate independence while also developing a sense of cooperation, kindness, and gratitude.
Additionally, by participating in duty activities, they learn to manage time effectively. Through games like playing cards, karuta, and role-playing, they naturally acquire knowledge of letters, numbers, and time while having fun. -
A Spacious Playground and Open-Classrooms for a Healthy Mind
We provide a spacious playground and terrace where children can play freely, as well as bright classrooms filled with gentle natural light streaming through large windows.
The spacious 833.03㎡ playground is used not only for daily outdoor play but also for events such as sports day.
The wide terrace attached to the classrooms facing the playground is a favorite spot for children, where they can bask in the sun, read picture books, or play with toys.
Large windows in the classrooms allow gentle natural light to fill the space, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day. Additionally, all classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and floor heating for year-round comfort. -
A Spacious Hall and Outdoor Pool
We have a large hall that can be used for indoor activities and events. The outdoor pool provides a refreshing and liberating space for children’s favorite summer water play.
The hall is widely used as an indoor exercise space, featuring play equipment for infants and vaulting boxes for physical activities.
For the preschool classes, a gymnastics lesson is held once a month in the hall. -
Implementing ICT Education in Preparation for Elementary School
To foster creativity, independent thinking, and learning skills, we provide opportunities for children to use digital devices.
In the 5-year-old class, we incorporate digital devices to create an environment where children can enjoy learning through play. Activities include programming and exploring digital picture books, helping them develop skills in a fun and engaging way.
By naturally interacting with digital tools from an early age, children cultivate IT literacy that will benefit them in the future. -
Deeply Rooted in the Community with Active Exchange Events
Children have various opportunities for experiences, such as walks to the park, cultural appreciation activities at the community center, and interactions with the elderly at senior welfare facilities.
Additionally, they participate in volunteer activities such as community cleanups.
Although located in the city center, the nursery is surrounded by lush green parks and cultural facilities.
Children have various opportunities for outdoor experiences, including walks to nearby parks, watching puppet shows, movies, and live music performances at the cultural center, and interacting with the elderly at senior welfare facilities.
Additionally, as part of our child-rearing support, we also open our playground to the community.
